Our site explains A Level physics simply so it’s easy to understand. We want to make it easier for you achieve success, and therefore we cover:

Exam board specifications
Our materials are based on the A Level physics specifications of the following UK examination boards:
- AQA
- EdExcel
- OCR
- Eduqas
To check whether a specific topic we have covered is included in your board’s specification, please refer to your individual examination board. However, please note that the majority of the topics that we cover are required by all four of these boards.

Meet Gemma
Gemma Sparrow has a masters degree in physics and philosophy from the University of Oxford and lives in London where she practices as a UK and European patent attorney.
She created the Science Sanctuary after a rewarding experience tutoring A Level physics, and hopes you will enjoy learning and brushing up on physics topics using our blog and the various study resources we offer.
